Due to a COVID complication, Nina unexpectedly lost her hearing. Encouraged by her friends to start something new and full of positivity, Nina realised that she felt at her most fabulous in wonderful French designed clothing. She secured an exclusive distribution license with a family run French brand and learnt how to import French designed womenswear. Nina approached a number of friends of hers who work as stylists and Tortue was born offering personalised styling advice for French clothing.
