After working for a major property firm in London, Annabel moved back to Scotland with her young family. She had always thought that home should be a sanctuary, full of treasures, things, and people you love, all wrapped up as cosy and comfortable as possible. The move back home really clarified this vision of hers, and she decided to turn it into a reality. Using her love of colourful fabric and textiles, she began by making her own table linen and quilts, and this quickly grew to cushions, ceramics, lampshades, and fabrics for light upholstery, curtains, and blinds. To share her vision of the sanctuary of the home, she shared her creations with others via her brand, The Mews, named after her three daughters.
