Kelli and Laura first had their idea for a child-friendly sunscreen applicator in 2011 whilst discussing how their children could apply sunscreen safely and effectively whilst not in their care. Their children’s schools had ‘No Touch Policies’ when it came to applying sunscreen, which meant the teachers were unable to assist the children. They came up with Solar Buddies to resolve the issue.
