When Alicia went through a period of ill health, she was forced to leave her teaching career. While recovering, she found herself dreaming about things that she was passionate about, and these formed into a desire to create a brand based on kindness: kindness to others, the planet, and ourselves. Alicia got creative and made a range of timeless and upbeat clothing designed to put a smile on people’s faces, and Single Swan was born.
