Laura grew up dancing from the age of 7, believing the world was a fair and equal place. Surrounded by friends from diverse backgrounds, it wasn’t until adulthood that she realised how much the dance world lacked representation. After years in the charity sector, she co-founded Shades Dancewear with Stacey to create skin-tone dance-wear for all dancers, ensuring every dancer feels seen and celebrated.
