Saida’s Kitchen

Saida’s Kitchen was born out of a personal challenge when Saida’s daughter was diagnosed with severe food allergies. She found it nearly impossible to purchase cooking sauces from the supermarket, as there were no allergen-free options available. The labels were often confusing, making it difficult to identify trustworthy products that she could use without worrying about allergens or unhealthy ingredients. Coming from a diverse background where food was central to her culture, Saida was disheartened to see a lack of products that represented her community, especially East African cooking sauces and tagines. She decided to take matters into her own hands and launched Saida’s Kitchen to fill the gap in the market.
