Lizzie Carter spent her childhood trying to tame her curly hair. She was so unimpressed with the products in the market for curly hair that remained the same for about 20 years, that she decided to create the products herself. She launched the curly towel while on maternity leave with £500 savings, packing all the orders herself. Lizzie then moved on to bottled products and her business went from there.
