Imogen and her husband Matt were ending their days with a big bowl of supermarket-bought pasta that, though delicious, would feel heavy on the stomach and leave them feeling tired and lethargic. Frustrated, the pair started to look for a better alternative—one that celebrated the best of British grains—and soon found that it didn’t exist. They decided to make their own using ancient spelt and worked with British millers to refine their recipes. At last, they launched Northern Pasta, a gut-friendly spelt pasta that is naturally lower in gluten which makes it easier to digest for many without compromising on the perfect texture, taste and bite.
