Shalom looked to her African heritage for inspiration, recalling recipes containing all natural ingredients, which have been used in Africa for generations. Shalom started to experiment in her kitchen, using high quality Shea Butter as a main base, stumbled across the right formulation and within three days of application, Joshua’s skin cleared! Using her pharmacist credentials, Shalom exported African shea butter to the UK for testing, formulation, and manufacture of sensitive skin products. Naturally Tiwa Skincare was born, providing a ‘one stop shop’ for skin conditions and cancer skincare in the UK whilst empowering African rural women in the process.
