Rachel, originally from New Zealand, worked in health technology for years before she had her first baby. It was then she realised how difficult childcare was in London. She kept hearing horror stories from friends or watching female friends unable to go back to work or making career choices they didn’t really want to make, just because they couldn’t find the right childcare. She felt deeply that this was unfair, and bad for society and that is how Koru Kids was born.
