Born in London, Charlotte grew up between Ghana and the UK where both her grandmother and mother passed down their hair care skills. After her mother passed when she was 13, hair became a form of healing for Charlotte. She trained at the London College of Fashion and launched her own salon on Portobello Road in London. Following great demand of clients, including many celebrities, Mensah decided to set up her Manketti Oil premium hair care range, designed for afro/mixed and all curly hair types and made using organic, ethical and sustainable sourced oils.
