Joyce got the idea for brut tea after working in tech where everything was about speed, output, and caffeine. She saw how easy it was to forget to slow down and enjoy the moment. The solution, she realised, lies in something that’s been around for thousands of years… tea. After moving to London and struggling to find real, high-quality Chinese tea, she was inspired by the tradition of pressed tea and created brut tea’s signature tea token: a modern way to enjoy loose leaf tea without compromising on quality.
