Brixton Wine Club
Louisa had always wanted to learn more about wine and figured that the best way to learn was by drinking it. She decided to run a wine club for her friends in her Brixton flat in 2017. It was laid-back and fun—something I felt was missing from the wine industry at the time. When lockdown hit and the club had to stop meeting, Louisa was scrolling through Instagram and discovered canned wine. She realised it was a perfect way to share the ethos of Brixton Wine Club without the need for in-person meetings, while also allowing her to share this modern wine community with more people. She soon launched her business as a canned wine subscription.
