Black & Beech

Stacey created a feminist fashion brand (that’s much more than just clothes) when her feminism intersected with her education in fashion design and her frustration with slogan T shirts made by huge brands with no care for the women who made them. These poorly designed and made garments had no feminist credentials and she knew there was a gap in the market for feminists who actually wanted to wear their values. Her brand’s approach to fashion is ethical in action, ensuring that women right up and down the supply chain earn fair pay, work in great conditions, and collaborate to create beautiful work of the finest quality. Every time a customer buys something from Black & Beech, a proportion of that money goes to organisations who, like them, believe in women having total agency over their own lives. Black & Beech create beautiful, irreverent, ethical clothing for activists of all kinds.
