Anna and Eveliina both grew up in the Arctic circle in Finnish Lapland, where they spent a lot of time picking and eating berries from the backyard all year round. After moving to London, they realised the farmed berries from local supermarkets did not taste the same and go off really quickly, and frozen berries are often too expensive or not always available.
